Welcome to Family Shield Cane Corsos. By purchasing a puppy from us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Buyer's Responsibilities
Payment Obligations
The buyer agrees to pay the full purchase price of the puppy, along with any applicable transportation, delivery, or travel-related expenses before the puppy is released.
Proper Care and Supervision
The buyer agrees to provide a safe, loving, and secure environment for the puppy at all times. Puppies should not be left outdoors unattended or exposed to unsafe conditions.
Humane Treatment
The buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, fresh water, adequate shelter, routine veterinary care, exercise, socialization, and affection necessary for the puppy's overall well-being.
Ongoing Commitment
The buyer understands that owning a Cane Corso is a long-term responsibility requiring time, training, supervision, and financial commitment.
Communication
The buyer agrees to maintain reasonable communication with Family Shield Cane Corsos regarding the puppy's well-being and development when requested.
Seller's Guarantees
Health Guarantee
At the time of placement, the puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and free from any known life-threatening illnesses.
Veterinary Care
The puppy will have received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, and routine health care prior to joining its new family.
Health Records
The buyer will receive copies of all available vaccination and health records at the time of delivery or pickup.
Temperament Evaluation
Our puppies are carefully raised and socialized. To the best of our knowledge, each puppy displays a stable and appropriate temperament at the time of placement.
Veterinary Examination Requirement
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the puppy.
If the examining veterinarian determines that the puppy has a serious pre-existing health condition that existed prior to delivery, written documentation must be provided to Family Shield Cane Corsos immediately.
Refund & Return Policy
Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose a significant health condition that existed before the puppy left our care, the buyer may return the puppy along with supporting veterinary documentation for review.
Upon verification, Family Shield Cane Corsos may offer one of the following remedies at its sole discretion:
- Full purchase price refund
- Replacement puppy when available
- Partial reimbursement of purchase costs
Transportation arrangements for approved returns will be discussed individually.
Rehoming Policy
If at any time the buyer is unable to keep the dog, Family Shield Cane Corsos must be notified first.
We reserve the right to assist with rehoming efforts and maintain the first opportunity to reclaim or place the dog in a suitable new home.
Ownership Transfer Restrictions
The buyer may not sell, lease, trade, surrender, or transfer ownership of the dog without first notifying Family Shield Cane Corsos.
We reserve the right to approve or decline any proposed transfer if it is not in the dog's best interest.
Prohibited Placements
Under no circumstances may the dog be sold, donated, leased, or transferred to:
- Pet stores
- Animal brokers
- Research facilities
- Animal testing laboratories
- Commercial puppy mills
- Animal shelters without prior notification
- Any organization or individual deemed unsuitable for the dog's welfare
Limitation of Liability
Family Shield Cane Corsos cannot guarantee the future health, behavior, size, breeding ability, or temperament of any dog after it leaves our care.
The buyer assumes full responsibility for the dog following pickup or delivery, including any damages, injuries, or liabilities resulting from ownership.
Agreement
By purchasing a puppy from Family Shield Cane Corsos, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this agreement.
Our primary goal is to ensure every Cane Corso is placed in a responsible, loving, and lifelong home.
